7 Best Himalayan treks you must try in May 2021

Chanderkhani Trek
🌄

The Chanderkhani Pass connects Naggar (Rumsu) and Malana (also Chandrakani Pass) Before the road to Malana was constructed, this was the traditional way to reach the mystery village of Malana. The trek takes two to three days and includes crossing from Kullu Valley into Parvati Valley through the 3650 m Chanderkhani Pass. It is a relatively simple trek that is suitable for beginners. This journey is best done between May and October. Because the trail is confusing in many places, it is best to have a guide and basic supplies with you.

Friendship Peak Trek 🌄

Friendship peak is one of the most well-known trekking destinations in the world. It is 17,348 feet tall and is part of the Pir Panjal range in Himachal Pradesh. This hike takes you through beautiful alpine meadows and thick woodland, as well as countless streams. The great Himalayan range, the Pir Panjal range, and the Dhauldhar range can all be seen from the summit. Hanuman Tibba, Shitidhar, Indra Asan and Deo Tibba are among the most conspicuous peaks. The summit of Friendship Peak is not for the faint of heart. This expedition necessitates a high level of fitness. The months of May to June and September to October are ideal for this journey.

Buran Ghati Trek 🌄

Buran Ghati is a well-known and relatively new trek. This journey will undoubtedly refresh you with its stunning scenery. When you walk through them, the forest of oak and pine trees becomes thicker and denser. The lush green meadows, the sharp edges at high altitude, the snow-capped peaks all around, the towns, and so on are just a few of the breathtaking sights you'll see along the way. The high-altitude Chandra Nahan lake is one of the trek's highlights. A moderately tough trek that can be done between May and October.

Kedartal Trek 🌄

Kedartal is a high-altitude lake near the Gangotri glacier in the Himalayas. Massive boulders form the approach to the lake, and snow can be seen near the lake all year. The trek begins in Gangotri and takes you through some lovely birch forests. The views are one of the trek's highlights, but the trail is still relatively undiscovered by many hikers. The trek to this heavenly lake offers a glimpse of prominent snow-capped peaks such as Mount Manda, Bhagirathi, Mount Meru, Mount Jogin, Mount Gangotri, and Thalaysagar. With ravishing scenery, pious rivers, and panoramic views of the arduous mountain ranges, this location is highly diverse.

Gaumaukh Tapovan Trek 🌄

The terminus or snout of the Gangotri Glacier, from which the Bhagirathi River originates, is Gomukh. It is one of the Ganges River's main sources. The location is in the district of Uttarkashi in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It has an estimated volume of more than 27 cubic kilometres, making it one of the largest in the Himalayas. The region above the Gangotri Glacier is the most well-known Tapovan in India. The Tapovan area serves as a base camp for a number of mountaineering expeditions. Tapovan is rich in meadows, lakes, and flowering plants, and the meadows are among India's finest high altitude meadows.

Roopkund Trek 🌄

Roopkund Trek in India is one of the most frequented hiking destinations. Roopkund trekking exposes you to the beauty of deep virgin forests, gurgling brooks, breath-taking campsites, miles of undulating meadows, snow and ice, and the flavour of a wonderful adventure as you ascend from 8,000ft to 16,000ft. We begin with thick forests that give way to Ali and Bedni Bugyal, two of India's most attractive high altitude meadows. We are only separated from the Trishul by air as we trek higher and higher above Roopkund. Our voyage is surrounded by rock-strewn glaciers and snow-covered mountains. Our trail will take you past breathtaking views of peaks such as Kedarnath, Chaukhamba, Neelkantha, Trishul, and Nanda Ghunti. The trek is exhausting, so go between May and June and September and October to get the best views.

Although someone with the right attitude and perseverance will learn and be fit, you first have to evaluate your skill honestly. On this basis, you should determine the degree of difficulty to face. Keep in mind that there is little or no transport on the way back to civilization when you want to travel along a long way. Be truthful with you and each member of your group and make a prudent choice.

Have Enjoyable and Safe trekking!!
